📢 Oncopediatrics Poster Competition – Now Open

Advancing knowledge and innovation in pediatric oncology

BACKGROUND

A research poster is a concise visual presentation designed to summarize a scientific study and is commonly displayed at academic conferences or research competitions. In the field of oncopediatry, the poster features a clear and informative title reflecting the study’s objectives, along with the authors’ names and institutional affiliations. The introduction provides essential clinical context, including the epidemiology and significance of pediatric cancers, while highlighting current diagnostic, therapeutic, and research challenges. The methods section outlines the study design, patient populations, clinical or laboratory techniques, and analytical approaches used to investigate disease mechanisms, diagnostic strategies, or treatment outcomes. Results are presented through figures, tables, or charts to clearly communicate key findings. The discussion interprets these findings in relation to existing literature, emphasizing their implications for pediatric oncology research and clinical practice. A concise conclusion summarizes the main outcomes, and references acknowledge relevant scientific sources. This poster competition offers a platform for students and healthcare professionals to present innovative research and clinical experiences addressing critical challenges in pediatric oncology. Through participation, contributors are encouraged to raise awareness, share novel insights, and propose meaningful solutions that support advancements in diagnosis, treatment strategies, and long-term outcomes for children with cancer, fostering collaboration within the global scientific and medical community.
