Anatomical Pathology and Cytology
Anatomical Pathology and Cytology (APC) is a cornerstone of modern diagnosis and patient care. Through the macroscopic and microscopic examination of tissues and cells, it provides essential diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic information. APC combines routine histological methods with advanced techniques, including special stains, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, cytogenetics, and molecular biology. In Morocco, it is a four-year medical specialty, beginning with foundational training in pathology, histology, and laboratory techniques, followed by specialized, organ-based pathology.

By expanding our expertise in immunohistochemistry and molecular biology, ACPT aims to contribute to more precise diagnoses, better clinical decisions, and improved outcomes for patients in Morocco.
Our Tasks
Our laboratory provides a comprehensive range of services, including cytological and histopathological examinations, tissue processing, frozen section analysis, and immunohistochemistry. We maintain rigorous quality assurance standards while supporting education, professional training, and scientific research. The laboratory is also progressively expanding its capabilities in molecular biology to enhance diagnostic precision and patient care.
